Welcome Erica and Nathan!

We are pleased to announce that Nathan Kwan and Erica Chen will join eSPARC as full-time employees this month.  Nathan and Erica began their time at eSPARC as fellows through the eSPARC Fellowship Program.  The eSPARC Fellowship Program offers recent college graduates an opportunity to make a real contribution to our growing company, while exploring individual areas of interest.  As a part of our team, Fellows have the opportunity to work in any of our service areas.  The goal of the program is to expose new grads to a variety of environmental projects in a fast-paced working environment.  Both Erica and Nathan have been able to take advantage of their time here at eSPARC and provide meaningful contributions. We are so excited for them to officially join the eSPARC team!

Nathan began his fellowship at eSPARC in April 2017.  During his time as a fellow, he provided technical support for the ESG Database used by a private equity clientele, provided technical support on due diligence assessments, provided routine environmental reporting support for clients, and worked on a variety of permitting and compliance tasks on behalf of oil and gas and power generating facilities.

“I feel grateful to be part of the team after 8 months as a fellow!”

-Nathan Kwan

Erica began her fellowship at eSPARC in June 2017.  During her time as a fellow, she developed PBR applications on behalf of oil and gas facilities, worked on emissions calculations and emissions tracking for oil and gas and power generating facilities, provided technical support on air dispersion modeling for PSD permitting for power plants, and developed an air compliance program for oil and gas facilities.

“During the past six months, I got introduced to environmental consulting and had the opportunities to work on a variety of challenging and meaningful projects. I’ve gained much perspective on both the regulatory and technical aspects of air permitting and compliance. Everyone at eSPARC has been really supportive and helpful and made my fellowship experience enjoyable. I look forward to continuing to be a part of this vibrant team as a full-time employee.”
